A New York Liberty Property
KICK
CHECK
Presented by Chase Republic · Offered by The Concrete Group
The Behavior
It already happens.
A guest sits down courtside. They shoot their feet on the hardwood. They post it before tip-off. Nobody asked them to. Nobody paid them to. It happens every night the Liberty play.
The Property
What Kick Check is.
01
The Property
Kick Check is a courtside footwear content property built into every Liberty home game. A celebrity or cultural guest posts their own sneaker photo from the floor. The Liberty features that same post live, inside a dedicated jumbotron segment, in front of the full arena. Kick Check is greenlit. It runs this season.
The Mechanic
How it runs on game night.
02
The Mechanic

The Unlock
Footwear is not one category.
Kick Check inventory is guest-worn and guest-chosen, not team-issued. Exclusivity doesn't have to sell at the category level. It sells at the subcategory level. Five non-competing footwear lanes run inside the same property, at the same time, without conflict.
Lane 01
Performance Basketball
Reaches the core WNBA fan and the working hooper.
Athletes, coaches, sports-media personalities.
On-court performance silhouettes read differently than retro, luxury, or skate footwear on the same floor.
Lane 02
Lifestyle / Retro
Reaches sneaker collector culture and streetwear audiences.
Musicians, stylists, sneaker media.
Collector-grade retro sits in a different shopping decision than performance or luxury footwear.
Lane 03
Luxury & Designer
Reaches the high-income courtside guest and fashion press.
Entertainers, designers, red-carpet talent.
Different price tier, different retail channel, different editorial coverage than the other four lanes.
Lane 04
Action Sports
Reaches the skate, BMX, and youth crossover audience.
Skaters, BMX riders, action-sport talent.
A distinct subculture and silhouette from the basketball-core buyer in Lane 01.
Lane 05
Running & Training
Reaches the performance and wellness audience.
Fitness creators, trainers, athlete-adjacent guests.
Functional footwear on a different shelf than fashion-led lifestyle or luxury product.

Category Protection
What your exclusivity covers.
Exclusivity Boundary
Each lane's boundary is defined in the term sheet by subcategory, not by a general footwear exclusion. Written, not implied.
Conflict Protocol
If a guest arrives wearing a competing brand, the segment is captured but the feature is deferred, not aired, until a compliant guest is available.
Content Approval Chain
Partner reviews the cut before publish, within a [XX]-hour window, on every asset carrying their lockup.
Likeness & Repost Rights
Talent likeness and repost rights are secured per appearance, not blanket-licensed in advance.
League-level apparel rights are respected. Guest-worn footwear sits outside on-court outfitting.

One conversation: a term sheet for a named lane, in a named season window. Chase Republic already said yes to the property. This is what's still yours to say yes to.
